Plastic recycling and pelletizing equipment

Equipment for plastic recycling and pelletizing: shredders, film and flake crushing and washing lines, electrostatic separators for mixed plastics, mixing and feeding systems, single-screw, twin-screw and multi-stage granulators, and the auxiliaries that complete a line — screen changers, water-ring and strand pelletizers, dewatering, drying and conveying. The machines can be combined into a complete line from scrap to finished pellets.

How to plan a recycling and pelletizing line

Plan the line from the material. Film needs crushing, washing and a squeezer dryer such as the film plastic squeezer dryer before pelletizing; rigid flakes from appliances or vehicles often need an electrostatic plastic separator and silicone or impurity sorting to split mixed plastics. For the granulator, a single-screw machine suits clean PE and PP; a two-stage or twin-screw machine such as the two-stage single-screw strand granulator or the single twin screw granulator adds degassing and mixing for printed, wet or blended material. Choose die-face water-ring pelletizing for PE and PP, and strand pelletizing for engineering plastics.

What to send for a quotation

Send the material and where it comes from, the main contaminants, the target output in kg/h, what the pellets will be used for, your power supply and the space available.

FAQ

Single-screw or twin-screw granulator?

Single-screw granulators are simple and suit clean PE and PP. Twin-screw machines mix and degas better, so they suit filled, blended or modified material.

Water-ring or strand pelletizing?

Die-face water-ring pelletizing is compact and common for PE and PP. Strand pelletizing suits ABS, PS, PA and other materials that need a longer cooling path before cutting.

Can you supply a complete line?

Yes. The machines on this page can be combined from feeding and crushing through washing, separation and pelletizing. Send your material and output, and we will propose a layout.
