Forged slip-on flanges are used to secure pipes, fittings, or other equipment in piping systems. Known for their reliability and ease of installation, they are suitable for a range of pressure ratings and are widely employed in industries like petrochemical, construction, and fluid transport.
Where it is used
Slip-on flanges slide over the pipe and are fillet-welded inside and outside. They are quick to align and cheaper to fit than weld neck flanges, so they are widely used on low- and medium-pressure lines for water, cooling water, air, oil and general process service, and on waterworks piping.
How to choose
Slip-on flanges suit moderate pressure and temperature with little cyclic loading; for high pressure, high temperature or strong vibration a weld neck flange is the safer choice. Pick the standard and rating to match the mating flange (ASME B16.5 or B16.47, EN 1092, DIN, GB, JIS, or AWWA C207 for waterworks), the bore to suit the outside diameter of your pipe, and the material to match the pipe: carbon steel, stainless steel or copper.
What to send for a quotation
Send the size (NPS or DN), wall thickness or schedule, standard, pressure rating, end or facing type, material grade and quantity, plus any test or certificate requirements (for example EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates). If you have a line list or drawing, send it and we will quote against it.

How We Work - Our Commitments
Each commitment carries a condition and a remedy. A promise without conditions is marketing.
- Sourcing & Supplier Matching
Commitment:
A written sourcing report within 48 hours of a complete requirement brief.
Conditions:
Requires machine type or output target, destination country, and timeline. Custom or multi-line projects may take longer – we tell you upfront.
Remedy:
If we cannot meet it, you receive an interim response with a firm date –
not silence.
- Pre-Shipment Inspection
Commitment:
Third-party pre-shipment inspection – SGS or BV – before balance payment is released.
Conditions:
Included as standard on production-line projects. Available on request for single machines. Scope agreed in writing before booking.
Remedy:
If inspection fails against the agreed specification, shipment does not release until corrected or you approve a deviation in writing.
- Export Documentation
Commitment:
Complete export document pack – commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and destination-specific conformity documents.
Conditions:
Destination conformity regimes (CE, EAC, SABER/SASO, PVOC, SONCAP) vary and change. We confirm the applicable route per project before contract.
Remedy:
If a document we are responsible for causes a customs hold, we resolve it and carry the correction cost.
- Warranty & After-Sales
Commitment:
12-month equipment warranty with a named responsible contact and a written spare-parts dispatch commitment.
Conditions:
Covers manufacturing defects under normal operation and specified maintenance. Wear parts and consumables excluded.
Remedy:
Dispatch window and remedy – details to be confirmed. Contact us for project-specific warranty terms.
